Yorkshire Soap Company Leeds

As I have mentioned in a previous post I recently popped into the Yorkshire Soap Company (YSC) in Leeds for a browse and of course to pick up a few essentials. I took a few photos of their beautiful shop and thought I should share them on my blog for those of you who haven't heard of them before.

Marcus and Warren started the Yorkshire Soap Company in 2004 and they now have five stores in Yorkshire, with another shop opening shortly in Halifax.
They're well known for their fabulous soap cake slices and cupcakes as well as their new unicorn tears range which seems to be very popular.

It's difficult to miss their beautiful store in Leeds, featured on Albion street in the heart of Leeds city centre. Their eye catching diplay and lovely smells help to entice you in, though for me it was the bubble machine that is constantly spouting bubbles down the street. Their store just gives off this magical feeling...and they play Disney songs in store so I'm sold there!

They also have a competition every month to win a hamper full of goodies as well as making wedding soap cakes and wedding favours. Whats not to love?!

I usually pop in every few weeks or so when I've run out of soap. I usually purchase a few glycerine bars when I visit, usually Rhubarb and Custard, Freesia and some kind of Rose variety. They also sell my favourite candle, mango and lychee; it smells so fruity and delicious and you can always rely on it to make your entire home smell amazing. The Yorkshire Soap Company also stock Bomb Cosmetics products, such as bath bombs and candles. I haven't had much experience with Bomb Cosmetics but the bath bombs look very pretty and well decorated and the candles all smell great (though I've had one before and it didn't smell when lit which was a little disappointing), though I usually stick to Lush for bath bombs and YSC for soap.

All in all, if you've never stepped foot in a YSC shop, get your butt down there!
Oh, and check out the Imaginarium if you find yourself in York.

Hope you enjoyed my rambling and the photos.
Thank you for reading, speak soon!
