Pusheen, BBQ and Lush
Hello everybody!
So yesterday I went for a wander around Leeds again, popped into the Corn Exchange, Red's True BBQ and Lush.
I discovered two particularly fabulous shops in the Corn Exchange, Giant Kitten (which I believe used to be called Culture Vulture, they still have their traditional Lego cash register!) and The Great Yorkshire Shop. I'm going to feature both in a future post so stay tuned!
I picked up a couple of the new blind Pusheen boxes (I don't think I've mentioned before, but...I adore Pusheen) and somehow got my two favourites! Pusheen as a candy corn and Pusheen as a ghost. I'm so in love with them, I just love Halloween and autumn themed things (really wish I lived in America for this reason, Halloween is so big over there).
Anyway...I of course browsed Lush hoping to see some early Halloween releases, but alas here I sit on the day of release and Lush Leeds don't have any of the new products (noooo...) I picked up some Softy foot lotion, a Dreamtime bath melt, a Mmmelting Marshmallow Moment bath melt and an adorable Scrubee.
I've had a sample of Softy which I really enjoyed so decided to take the plunge and see if it can fix the dry skin on my heels. I picked up another Scrubee as my previous one is no more (rest in peace Scrubee!)
Dreamtime was for my boyfriend...I wanted to review it but he forgot to take photos and such and he used it today so looks like I'll have to buy another. Never mind...
After taking a bunch of photos in Lush we decided to go to Red's True BBQ for dinner which was pretty yummy. Red's is pretty famous for it's BBQ nowadays and has changed its menu quite a bit since I last visited but it's still enjoyable and busy as always!
I'll also be writing a post about Red's in the near future so look out for that if you're interested!
As I listen to my boyfriend snoring next to me, I realise I should probably stop here and go to sleep, so thank you for reading and happy Monday!
Becca Jayne.
P.S. Here's my Monday face as a bath bomb!
